Mission

I am committed to empowering clients to engage in profound and transformative changes in their lives. I believe in the importance of helping clients discover their inner wisdom. I aim to help clients identify patterns that create roadblocks to intimacy and discover the root causes driving unhealthy behaviors.

Method

I bring an extensive background in treating trauma, emotional dysregulation, and interpersonal difficulties. I strive to balance being direct and challenging while offering compassion and unconditional support. I employ a wide range of methods and interventions combining elements of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and attachment-based therapy to address a variety of struggles, including depression, anxiety, personality disorders, suicidal ideation, and attachment difficulties. I believe my relationship with clients holds the key to helping them process difficult emotions, increase insight, and uncover underlying insecurities while developing a capacity for compassion and self-acceptance.

Experience

As a licensed clinician with a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Utah, I have worked extensively with parents, adolescents, and adults in therapeutic settings since 2004. My experience ranges from being a primary clinician in wilderness therapy, residential boarding schools, and my current private practice in Park City, Utah. As a member of the Insight Health Collective team, I am passionate about creating customized holistic personal growth experiences that allow individuals, families, and couples to heal and reconnect.

Interests

Originally from Georgia, I left my southern roots to be closer to the mountains. After spending some time in the Pacific Northwest, I found my home in Utah. I love spending time with my husband and two kids, playing in the mountains biking, skiing, and trail running in the picturesque Utah landscape.
